Simulated Game Bird: 1st and 3rd Saturdays

IPSC (*B): First Saturday

Service Rifle & .22 Plinkers: 1st Sunday
Cowboy Action Shooting (*B) and ISSF/Service pistol (*B): 2nd Sunday

300 Yard shoot: 3rd Saturday starting at 2.00pm

3 Gun (*B): 3rd Sunday
Black Powder (*B) & Speed Steel (*B) & Cowboy Action Training (*B): 4th Sunday

***Cowboy Action Shooting is normally done on ranges 1 & 2***

Subject to change, the 5th Sunday in a month is normally free.

PLEASE NOTE "*B" denotes a B-cat sanctioned event - including all PNZ sanctioned matches - for the purposes of recording attendances .

Any ranges not being used for scheduled, regular events (eg. as above) are designated for training purposes for members.

If “B” endorsed members need to record attendance at an away shoot, email the details to wpsscsec@gmail.com, & the event willl be added to our calendar.

Range hours

The range is available to members on

1st & 3rd Saturdays
All Sundays
All Wednesday afternoons
All public holidays except Christmas Day, and Anzac Day (Please check club notices re ANZAC Day as the public holiday. if not the observed Anzac Day, may still be a shooting day)

Pre-booked events can be seen in the calendar but please note that events often don't use all the ranges so open up the event and have a look.
Any ranges not being used for scheduled, regular events are designated training ranges for members.

BE SURE TO PUT UP THE FLAGS & "RANGE CLOSED" SIGNS WHEN DOWNRANGE (to avoid being shot at!)

Finish time at any time of the year is 2000 hrs (8 pm) or dusk -whichever comes first! In other words when the days get shorter and it gets dark earlier than 2000 hrs, shooting must cease.
No shooting during the hours of darkness without committee approval and the landlord's consent; e.g. the range has been used with prior approval during the hours of darkness for other training purposes.
