Here is the COF for the Service Rifle match on Dec 6th; Jason will be running this event:
.22 CQB shoot WPSSC Range 6 Dec 6th 2015 MD: Jason Match 1: Rapid Trinity. (15 rds.) Start standing with hot rifle at the alert position. On command fire 5 rounds from standing, 5 from sitting and 5 from prone in one serial with no pauses. 30 seconds. Match 2: Mini Banzai (20 rds.) Since you all did so well at best of American… Start standing with hot rifle at the alert position. On command engage targets from standing. 1 x Fig 12 1 x Fig 14. Only Vs and 5s count on the fig 12, any hit on the fig 14 (Hun’s head) is a 5. 50 yards. Max 10 hits per target 30 seconds total time, (Fig 14 is not full scale so bang goes that plan…..) Match 3: Rapid (20 rds.) Start position. Standing, facing away from rifle. Rifles staged on mat, loaded with safety on facing target. 2 Magazines or clips loaded with 10 rounds each. On command, turn, drop to kneeling or prone and engage target with all rounds. On cease fire shooter will show clear and advise scorer how many rounds were fired. 3 points per miss on target will be deducted from score. 30 seconds Match 4: Double Action M: (20 rds.) Start standing. Rifle staged on mat loaded with 10 rounds, empty chamber. On command drop prone, load and fire four rounds, stand and fire four rounds, drop to kneeling /sitting/squatting and fire two rounds, reload and fire two more rounds, stand again to fire four then drop back to prone to fire the last four rounds. 60 seconds. Match 5: CQB Advance. (20rds) Start standing with hot rifle in the alert position. Time to reload between positions 50 yds. On command fire two rounds from standing, then two from kneeling 20 seconds 25 yds. On command fire two rounds from standing, then two from kneeling 15 seconds 15 yds. On command fire two rounds from standing, then two from kneeling 10 seconds 10 yds. On command fire two rounds from standing, then two from kneeling 6 seconds 5 yds. On command fire four rounds from the hip 4 seconds Match 6: Officer and grunts. (Unlimited rounds) Start in standing alert with hot rifle. On command, drop to prone to bust your clay bird at 100 (actually 100+ yards) then engage Fig 12s. Scoring: Clay bird = 25 points, fig 12 as per hits, max 5 hits each. Clay must be hit to score, not just cracked by flying crap from your misses. Yes you have to engage it properly. 30 seconds total 1x Clay bird, 4x Fig 12 Team Shoot: (Optional if we have time) 3 man team. (Yes girls are allowed too) 1 member standing, 1 sitting/kneeling and 1 prone. Up to 50 steel targets from 35 to 50 yds. On command drop all targets as see. Max time allowed 3 minutes. Target up=DNF. We use a shot timer for this event and suppressed .22s may not register on it so hi velocity ammo only. Notes: This is a.22 rimfire shoot designed for semi auto, detachable magazine rifles only. Bring a groundsheet if you don’t want to dirty your party dress DO NOT BRING A TUBE FED RIFLE; THEY ARE UNSAFE FOR THIS COF AS YOU CANNOT RELOAD THEM SAFELY. Classes: Optics and Open sights. .22lr only no magnums or .17 cal rimfire Reshoots: If your rifle has a significant melt down, a reshoot may be granted by the match director. All Fig 12 targets are ¼ scale. Anyone not having fun will be sent home. Eye protection required for all shooters and gawkers
